Louise’s paintings focus on nature. Whether painting in Tanzania or
in the remote southeastern Yukon Territory, she is influenced by the
natural beauty around her. |

Her "View From the Top" painting of two Snow Leopards was selected
to be the commemorative print for the 5th International Snow Leopard
Symposium, and The International Snow Leopard Preservation Trust has
distributed this compelling print throughout the world. Her oil of a
Snow Leopard and Blue Sheep in Hemis National Park, India was
selected again for the Commemorative Poster for the 8th
International Symposium in Islamabad, Pakistan, and it was later
reproduced for the cover of a Russian Conservation journal. She has
illustrated six volumes of the Russell Annabel Adventure Series
published by Safari Press. In 2009, The American Kennel Club
in celebration of their 125th Anniversary, commissioned her to paint
a 30x40 inch oil painting to hang in their Madison Avenue, New York
office and the image of which was used for their 2009 AKC/Eukanuba
National Championship Commemorative Poster. |

She completed thirteen, five by seven foot, wildlife oil paintings
of the Adirondacks for Ken Stewart’s Lodge in Bath, Ohio and a four
by seven foot nautical oil painting for the Dana Point Yacht Club.
Many of her wildlife oil paintings and animal prints are in public
and private collections throughout the world. Her oil paintings have
been juried into several Southern California Plein Air Painters
Association (SOCALPAPA) shows and won the Artist’s Choice Award at
the Newport Back Bay October 2006 Show. She has been in the
prestigious Bennington (VT) Center for the Arts Exhibitions,
Impressions of New England and Art of the Animal Kingdom VIII. |

Louise is a Signature member and former Exhibition Chairman for the
Society of Animal Artists, a member of the Southern CA Plein Air
Painters and the United Society of Pastel Artists. She is
listed in Who’s Who in American Art and The World Dictionary of
International Biography. She is represented by Blackhawk
Gallery in Saratoga, Wyoming. |
