About the artist Louise Lopina

Louise’s paintings focus on nature. Whether painting in Tanzania or in the remote southeastern Yukon Territory, she is influenced by the natural beauty around her.

Her "View From the Top" painting of two Snow Leopards was selected to be the commemorative print for the 5th International Snow Leopard Symposium, and The International Snow Leopard Preservation Trust has distributed this compelling print throughout the world. Her oil of a Snow Leopard and Blue Sheep in Hemis National Park, India was selected again for the Commemorative Poster for the 8th International Symposium in Islamabad, Pakistan, and it was later reproduced for the cover of a Russian Conservation journal. She has illustrated six volumes of the Russell Annabel Adventure Series published by Safari Press.

She completed thirteen, five by seven foot, wildlife oil paintings of the Adirondacks for Ken Stewart’s Lodge in Bath, Ohio and a four by seven foot nautical oil painting for the Dana Point Yacht Club.  Many of her wildlife oil paintings and animal prints are in public and private collections throughout the world. Her oil paintings have been juried into the California Art Club Exhibitions, the prestigious Bennington (VT) Center for the Arts Exhibitions, Impressions of New England and Art of the Animal Kingdom VIII, and the Grants Pass Museum of Art Wildlife Art Show.

She is a Signature member and former Exhibition Chairman for the Society of Animal Artists and also belongs to the Southern California and Laguna Plein Air Painters Associations.  She is listed in Who’s Who in American Art and The World Dictionary of International Biography.
